This is a favorable response, out of the gate.  The visit is still fresh and the seats are still warm from the guests.  Some of the old issues that have been responsible for defining the waning, but primary characteristics of the Sino-US relationship still remain and this was predictable.  Most of us have our ideal conditions that we would like to see, but look at this poll realistically despite our optimism.  It shows great potential for our strengthening ties and recognition for the other, but there is still much to be done.  Taiwan, currency values, presence in Asia appear to be the most undecided, but they are also the most likely issues to be resolved in the process of building closer ties and gaining a better understanding.  I continue to be optimistic.  If our two bright, intelligent leaders seek the common ground on the smoothest path, we can see huge benefits during their terms as our leaders.

Thank you very much, but I forgot to mention a point regarding the first survey question... "1.President Obama would probably return home empty handed, as China always stands firm on its positions."

I am sure that President Obama came home "full handed" and not empty handed.  The survey results seem to concur, but I think it is fair to say that China is a supreme host for this visit would never let anyone exit empty handed.  If the U.S. President didn't come home with everything he had hoped for, he will have several things to be sure.  He has the experience and warm reception by China's leaders.  He has results and answers for many questions, both official and general.  He has firm objectives and requests from China to consider and act upon.  And, he has information relating to his own objectives to apply to his needs.  But, probably the biggest thing that both sides come away with is hope.  We as the people of both sides put our trust and faith in these leaders and we must hope they are worthy of that faith and trust.  We as people of both sides can reach across to the other as brothers and sisters.  This is my "full hands" hope.
