Singles in search of their better-halves in Beijing now have a new way to find their perfect match, after the first "Love Supermarket" opened in the capital city on Monday, the Beijing Times reports.
The Love Supermarket offers data on single candidates that are sorted by sex, age and income. Photos of the candidates are also provided. Visitors can select their favorites and contact them instantly through the administrators after an identity check.
All the information is offered with the permission of the candidates and authenticity is guaranteed, according to Zhang Ying, the manager of the supermarket.
A female visitor surnamed Wei says the Love Supermarket is useful for singles. "It is easy to select a match since the information is clear, and it's more convincing than information offered on websites", she said.
A special matchmaking activity will be held on Wednesday - "Singles' Day". Why not just go and have a try as long as you are still single?
